This is a problem faced by both by men and women. Stretch marks usually appear after weight loss or weight gain .Women often suffer post pregnancy. Sometimes certain skin types may be more susceptible to stretch marks than others

Our skin consists of three main layers: they are the Epidermis (the outer layer), the Dermis (the middle layer) and the Subcutaneous or Hypodermic (the deepest layer). The Stretch marks form in the middle layer or the dermis of the skin. This happens when the connective tissue is “strained or stretched” way beyond its flexibility or limit.

When the skin is stretched, it weakens the collagen and interrupts and damages the normal production cycle. This causes the scars just under the top layer of the skin. These scars are initially red or pink and with time become thin and silvery. This is how a stretch mark is formed. These marks can be more noticeable as raised red or white lines which are found on the stomach, arms and thighs or sometimes the breast area. These marks can be can be fairly unattractive. People who suffer from these kind of stretch marks have to wear clothes that cover the area, so no sleeveless etc. Why go through the expense and hassle of hiding your scars and stretch marks with makeup and clothing when you can reduce them with laser scar treatment that’s fast and easy.

Most patients will see fading within in 2-3 months but optimal results are usually obtained in 3-5 sessions.

Non ablative fractional laser basically causes targeted precise thermal damage causing collagen remodelling. The recovery time is usually a few hours with less aggressive treatment and can be up to one week with very aggressive treatment.

Non Ablative fractional laser helps to treat acne and acne scars, it helps in decreasing the oil production and reduces the pore size. Compared to other methods of micro injury, Non ablative fractional laser can cause deep penetration to denature proteins as collagen and it is very precise.
